A colourful antique Edwardian chain from the early 20th Century featuring violet amethysts, green peridots and white pearls along its length, which together make up the colours associated with the women’s Suffrage movement and represent; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
Each link is fashioned in platinum with some gold gilded highlights including the clasp at the end. It’s in excellent condition and a lovely tribute to the movement.
